1) Rigging & Animation Fixes
- Universal Bone Naming: supports non-standard naming (e.g.,
upper_Arm_L vs LeftArm, Chest vs Spine1). Case-insensitive and tolerant of spaces/underscores.
- Spring Bone “Glue”: detects spring/loose bones (hair, tails, skirts, ribbons) and welds their weights to the nearest valid parent (e.g., Head/Hips) for UE5.
- Dynamic Armature Detection: no hard dependency on an
Armature name; finds a plausible skeleton automatically.
2) Material & Transparency Fixes
- MToon → PBR: converts anime-style materials to Principled BSDF automatically.
- Color Recovery: if no texture, extracts a base color so the model doesn’t render white.
- Priority-driven transparency (CLIP): hair/eyelash/eyebrow/eyes/etc. flagged transparent; body/cloth forced opaque.
3) Geometry & Stability
- Normals repair: clears custom split normals and merges by distance to fix dark/black shading artifacts.
- Automated import: bypasses VRM license popup for bulk or headless conversions.
